The Lake's Retakes collection was supposed to be a soft look back at my first year of creating. I had full intentions of taking past creations and putting a new twist on past deisgns... unfortunately that plan was not well executed.

I was blessed to have one of those months that I like to call a "creative surplus". They can be a rare phenomenon, but when they happen you better take full advantage of them.

Things always end up as they should be, and this collection is no different. Some pieces are an ode to what was, and some are a looking glass into the future. This was a pivotal collection for me, exploring ways to make everyday pieces that still are unlike anything you've ever seen before. That is a direction I am looking forward to exploring throughout the next phase of LRS!
